Money Saver Spain is an English language website that launched in September 2011. It’s full of information, tips and advice about how to save money in Spain with in-depth articles split into four different areas: shopping, house & home, leisure & time-off and money & business. There’s also a separate section for latest offers, freebies and competitions, where you can find information on short-term discounts such as meal deals, free delivery offers from websites and special offers exclusive to Money Saver Spain (such as a 5% discount on theme parks, zoos, etc.).
Additionally there’s a weekly newsletter out on Thursdays with a round-up of all the latest offers and discounts to be found in Spain, both in store and online, and the latest consumer news. No personal details are required to receive the newsletter, just a valid email address (sign-up form on home page right-hand side column). Money Saver Spain also has an active presence on Twitter (@MoneySaverSpain) and Facebook, where offers are published as soon as they become available.
Given the large increase in utility bills in Spain during 2012, one of the fastest growing services is our. It’s a totally free service for both individuals and businesses where we check your bills to make sure you’re on the lowest tariff. If not, then you can make the choice of whether to change tariff with your current provider or take advantage of our agreement with a utilities company to get a special discounted rate. Why not try it? It’s a totally transparent service with no false promises of savings that then never materialise.
Money Saver Spain is not a thrift site, nor does it offer daily deals, but what it can do is help you spend less on your everyday purchases. Even if you speak Spanish well, we’re confident that by following Money Saver Spain you’ll be able to save quite a few euros during the year. Remember, every euro saved is an extra euro in your pocket!
