ROLL UP, ROLL UP and enrol for the newly formed rugby summer school.

Within the forthcoming months we are going to be starting a rugby summer school, Centurion Rugby Summer School, CRSS for short. It has been set up by a couple of rugby enthusiasts, myself and Ian Morrison, who is also the head coach with many years experience, to promote rugby and to help parents out during the long holiday period schools enjoy in Spain.

The school will be run from the last week in June through to the end of July, setting up for 5 different weeks, with the third and fourth week taking part in Formentera del Segura near Rojales, other locations to be announced.

The courses run from Monday to Friday from 10.00-17.00.

The children will be split into 4 groups U10’s, U12’s, U14’s and U16’s.

The idea is to show the fun side of the sport as well as teaching the basics. It will only be tag or touch rugby, which is used by all the top teams to train and practice the important skills of the game.

Why not come along, make new friends and have some fun in the sunshine and fresh air.

At present we are very happy to say that Formentera del Segura have come on board and have given us the facilities free of charge, which has enabled us to keep the fees down. They have been very keen to help to promote it and looking forward to making it an annual event.

We are looking for other councils to work with over this period of time, so if there are any out there who want to get on board with this new venture contact us.

The idea is to give something different for the kids to do during the summer holidays and to try out a new sport with qualified coaches.

All boys and girls from any nationality are welcome so get in touch with Ian or myself for an application form.

For more information please contact myself, Garry on 692 767 242 or Ian Morrison on 634 367 295.
