This is Spain

One of the Costa’s most famous hotel restaurants has added a spectacular Andalucía flamenco presentation to its autumn events.

The Los Alcazares historic La Encarnacion Hotel and internationally acclaimed flamenco’s artiste Raquel Pena have agreed an entertaining partnership. The maestra’s outstanding dancers, often including Luciana Ibanez and Daniel Asis can now be experienced at each Sunday evening’s dinner shows.

Described as the perfect Spanish partnership the famous hotel and restaurant once hosted King Alfonso X111. The upmarket eatery provided the model Spanish setting for the American movie Garden of Eden starring Richard E. Grant.

Evocatively it was home to the Soviet Union’s Red Army officers at the time Ernest Hemingway was covering the Spanish Civil War. No doubt the deafening percussion of flamenco heels will now conjure up a long lost atmosphere of the war correspondent’s Spain.
