Have you lost a loved one, friend or colleague to Motor Neurone Disease? If so you will know what a terrible disease it is for the sufferers and those around them. Even if you have not been touched by MND maybe you’ve seen the attempts by people suffering this awful disease, like Mrs Diane Pretty, to be allowed to take their own life before it kills them?
I lost my mother to MND as did Roger Lomas, who I met through the Charity Golf Day that Spence Clarke Accounting have organised for the MND Association for the last 3 years in Marbella, Spain. This year the Spence Clarke Golf Day raised over €10,000 for the MND Association.
This November Roger is going to drag his ageing body over 100km again (he has run several endurance races for the MNDA) in an event calledorganised by the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Roger and his group will attempt to raise £100,000 between them. This is the 5th 100km event and gives valuable income to the MND Association.
Roger and I would really appreciate it if you could make a donation. We cannot think of a better way to pay tribute to our mothers, Maria Josefa and Renee, than to support this great cause.
It’s easy to donate online with a debit or credit card – just go to this JustGiving page.
JustGiving sends your donation straight to Motor Neurone Disease Association and automatically reclaims Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer, so your donation is worth even more.
Can we ask you to dig deep and if its not possible thanks for reading this and perhaps you could send this to someone who may be able to support.
Thank you so much!
Roger and Rod
