The Hipódromo Costa del Sol, Mijas is situated just outside the Fuengirola boundary in La Cala, Mijas and is a popular day-out for tourists and locals alike. The calendar for summer 2010 has just been announced and includes some exciting cards.

The course has had quite a chequered history but the vast majority of punters are not interested in this. They attend to enjoy fine racing on an excellent track. As the racing is (usually) in the sun, it’s quite a contrast to a wet February of racing at Haydock, Southwell or Lingfield Park!

Happy Easter

Spring is upon us and with it come new activities- our first outing is going to be when we will be organising a special fundraising market in aid of CUDECA at the Hipodrome race course in Mijas Costa (Hipódromo Costa del Sol, Mijas) on Friday April 2nd. The market will be craft, wellness and mind, body, spirit and we invite you to come along with a stall or just to visit and contribute to the running of the CUDECA hospice in Benalmádena.
