Business Networking Event to Raise Funds for Charity
The President of The Duquesa Charitable Association of St George Dean Tyler Shelton, has expressed his thanks to everyone who made a great success of the Shaw Marketing Services’ charity networking event in March which raised 230€ for the charity and brought together almost 50 local business people for a great evening of networking for an excellent cause.
Due to demand, all future networking events will now be mixed events, open to men and women and the next event will be held on 15th April from 18.30 to 20.00 at the CIVIMA Wine Museum in Manilva Pueblo. The entry fee is 5€ to cover the networking and refreshments, there will be a structured networking activity, plus a welcoming environment to make new contacts.
This month they will be collaborating with Specsavers Opticas’ campaign to collect over 4,500 pairs of glasses for the Lions Club International to be donated to people in need in Africa and India. The organisers are asking attendees to bring along any unwanted glasses that they, friends or family have as every pair will make a huge difference to someone’s life.
