Bar Offside is my favourite bar in Los Boliches. It’s speciality is football but you would not need to be in the comfortable and clean bar for too long to work that out for yourself! The walls are covered with football memorabilia and there are no less than four large-screen TVs for you to enjoy the best of football (and other sports).

It is a typical Spanish bar, with a huge selection of spirits (both Spanish and imported), the omni-present coffee machine pumping out great coffee and a wide range of soft drinks. Perhaps unusually for a bar of this type, there is a wide range of snacks to suit all tastes.

The owners are a lovely couple who keep the bar spotless and open long, long hours. A particular “plus” for this bar is that it has free wifi. Just buy a drink and surf the net!

It’s on the Avda de los Boliches,55 just 100 yards towards Fuengirola from the main church square and the Santa Fé Hostal.
