BNI Estepona

Helen Johnson from Envirocare reminded me that a new BNI chapter is launching this week in Estepona – to be known as “Paraiso”. I know several of the founder members and I am sure that they will quickly establish themselves as one of the premier chapters in Europe.

BNI is a business and professional networking organisation whose primary purpose is to exchange qualified business referrals. It is the most successful organisation of its type in the world today, with over 5,900 chapters in operation in 48 countries. Last year, members of BNI passed more than 6.5 million referrals which generated more than 2.1 billion Euros worth of business for its members.

Helen would like to invite you to a breakfast launch-meeting of a new chapter of BNI beginning at 08-00a.m. on Thursday 28th April at El Paraiso Country Club, Urb El Paraiso, Km 167, 29680, Estepona. www.epcc.es

What makes BNI unique is that it allows only one person per profession to join a chapter. Thus, once you’ve joined, there is no conflict in passing leads, and none of your competitors can participate!

We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, setting you up for whatever trials and tribulations you’ll face – a group of business people from around Estepona are taking breakfast a step further. Meeting up bright and early once a week they educate one another about their businesses and pass business referrals to each other yet still manage to start work at the usual time

There is a nominal 10 Euros meeting fee, which does include a full breakfast. Remember to bring plenty of business cards to pass around, as you will meet a lot of local business people. So if you are interested can you let Helen or the Regional Director Keith Spitalnick know as they would need to book you in?

I am a huge fan of BNI and last summer visited some 50 different chapters as I cycled around the UK. The amount of business that is done within the members is quite staggering and would dwarf anything I have seen here in Spain. If you are keen to promote your business on the coast and would like a team of committed fellow members endorsing you then I urge you to get to Estepona this week. If you cant make that then make contact with Helen and she will be able to give you details of other local chapters.

Good luck to all – I am sure it will be a great chapter.
