European Rugby comes to La Vila

La Vila Rugby Club is Vila Rugby Club are pleased to announce the details of the three home games in the European Amlin Cup.
The 1st game is Saturday 12th November at 4.00pm against AGEN, France.
The 2nd game is Saturday 10th December at 4.00pm against BRIVE, France.
The 3rd game is Saturday 14th January at 4.00pm against SALE SHARKS from Manchester, UK.

The club will be organising a Family ’Fiesta del Rugby Europeo’ Day for each of these exciting occasions starting at 10.30am with a fun mini-rugby competition for under 8’s, under 10’s and under 12’s. Although there will be teams from around the local area, any young person can join in and have a go. If your child has never played rugby and would like to give it a go, come along and maybe even score a try!

After the mini-rugby, The Association of Fishermen will be providing a complimentary Fresh Fish Fry lunch from 2.00pm til 3.30pm and there will be a range of entertainment including a bouncy castle for children, a flamenco dancer and live music. The opening ceremony at 3.30pm will begin to the rhythmic drum beats of the Batacada Brazilian Music band, culminating in a noisy firework display as only the Spanish can do! Live music entertainment will continue after the game.

A free bus from Benidorm will leave from the Yorkshire Pride Pub, at 1.00pm, returning at 7.30pm. Also free buses from Alicante and Villajoyosa.

All this and a designated seat match ticket costs from 15eu, children under 16 are half price.

For the European Amlin Cup Games, La Vila Rugby Club will be providing a Hospitality Marquee for a maximum of 60 people. Two top Scottish chefs will provide a delicious seven course lunch with drinks included, designated seat match ticket and free parking. You can enjoy the entertainment from your own private area.
