SummerJazz 2012 is hitting the road this Thursday July 26th with the “Jazztronomic Session” in The Gourmet Experience – El Corte Ingles, Alicante.

But the first big night of the festival will come with a performance by The Hep Chaps on Friday 27 in Villa Marco (El Campello), following the Saturday and Sunday in Altea and Denia, respectively.

The group from the UK will play exclusively for SummerJazz their only concert in Spain with classics from the golden years of swing (from Benny Goodman to Frank Sinatra) and original songs that capture the essence of the time. Led by John Wallace (musician James Taylor, Robert Plant and a member of the legendary The Stargazers), The Hep Chaps Quartet are a safe bet when choosing rhythm and groove.

The Hep Chaps continues their performances in SummerJazz on Saturday July 28th at 23:00 pm, at Villa Gadea (Altea) and Sunday July 29th at 22:30 pm, at the Villa Torrecremada (Denia) closing their participation at the festival.

More than a concert series SummerJazz is a musical experience which combine excellent bands, magical environments, careful staging and the possibility to enjoy a welcome drink with the best wines of the province.
The series carries on through into the middle of August with the last event in Dénia on the 12th.
