Here is the Official AENA website about Lanzarote airport in English. This site gives comprehensive details of the airport and its services, flights and airlines.
Lanzarote Airport (ACE) is located just 5 kilometres from Arrecife, the island capital, is extremely important for tourism development on the island.
Most of the traffic comes from European Union countries. The United Kingdom and Germany account for almost 71 per cent of international traffic.
Domestic traffic is concentrated around three destinations: Madrid-Barajas, Gran Canaria and Tenerife Norte.
In 2013, the airport recorded 5,334,598 passengers. The number of operations was 44,259 and cargo traffic exceeded 2,081 tonnes. Interesting the number of passengers is almost identical to that registered 10 years ago in 2004 (5,517,136) so their lofty claim that it is an airport in constant growth is a little “optimistic”.
